Blogging is an activity that can be done either as a personal activity or as a way to advertise for a business. You can even use the activity to generate a solid income on the side if you know how to do it properly. Learning how to blog isn’t hard and once you understand it you will find that it’s very easy to do regardless of what you’re using it for.

Blogging is in general simply posting a small article on the internet on whatever subject that you wish to write about. If you are posting a specific article related to a business or corporation then you will post it on their blog. A blog is the web space that an individual or company reserve for these small articles to be posted. These can be located on their webpage or on another webpage.

This may seem confusing at first but once you understand how to blog or have done it a few times things become clearer. The articles used for this are about 100 to 300 words a piece. They are meant to be short, precise, and to the point. Companies use them to update their customers and shareholders on their status as well as make surprise announcements. When a person posts an article to a blog the term for the action is called blogging.

When learning how to blog you are primarily focused with getting the article submitted and showing up on your or someone else’s webpage. This is a great advertisement method but as mentioned above you can also use it to make money. Obviously a large corporation would have no need to use this for income but they are willing to pay others to write and post articles to their blogs for them. This isn’t one of the highest paying jobs but it is one of the most reliable.

After all every company has a blog and blogging is becoming more popular as a means of advertisement. After learning how to blog you can either post articles for companies and earn money this way or you can start advertising your article on search engines. This takes some time to start earning income with but it can be very successful if done repeatedly. Using this as a means of advertising is also much more effective than standard sized articles or pop ups.

Due to the small nature of the articles they can be read very quickly and if they can convey the message or point quickly enough people can be very responsive to them. While you can use them solely for advertising or status updates you can also use them to notify people of upcoming events.

Using a blog is much more effective than notify everyone of a company picnic or fundraiser via mailed paper flyers. It’s also easier on the environment and saves a lot of money. Best of all anyone can do it as long as they can use a computer with a keyboard.

Blogging has grown from an interesting thing to update your status with to a full fledged method of earning money and advertising new products. Learning how to blog might seem like a tall order at first but you can get the hang of it quite easily. An experienced blogger can make about $600 U.S.D a month advertising making it a very profitable way to justify time on the computer.
